Japanese Garden

Sunday afternoon, Elaina and I were playing outside. She made a bit of mess with her sand box, but while she was sweeping up the sand she kept making designes in it with the straw broom. I all of the sudden had the insperation, we should go to the Japanese garden at CSULB so she can see the rock garden there! I quickly looked up when it was open, we had about an hour and 15 min. until it closed, so we crazy fast got ready and headed over. James stayed behind to work on his internet test, but Elaina and I had a good Mommy-Daughter date.
View of the garden from the two ends.

This girl LOVES waterfalls

Well, for a change, she didn't have to throw anything off of a bridge to play pooh sticks. The fish were doing it for her by swimming back and forth.

Just some more pictures. Of course the purple flowers
were her favorite....

Really now, what trip to the Japanese garden would be compleate without feeding the Koi fish?
She brought her own quarter to get the food

The big white fish was her favorite.

She also liked the "little trees" because they were just her size.
