Boy Scout service project

If you didn't know, I work for an after school program at the Elementary level. While we do have a classroom, we also have a storage shed, one of those big metal shipping containers, where we keep our large or excess supplies. I've often joked that it was such a mess in there that it should be deemed a hard hat area. It has been hard for the staff and I to get out there and clean it out between school and work schedules, so when I found out that the boy scout troop that my husband James recently became part of needed a service project, I jumped at the opportunity! : ) So this Saturday four of the boys, there leaders, and I got in there and emptied the whole thing out, re-arranged the shelves, and then organized the area's by subject.

The fearless leaders, Ruben, James, and Rudy.

I was so impressed by these youth! I didn't hear a single complaint the whole time. They were smiling the whole time and so very respectful and courteouse! Lets hear it for troop 56!

Of course there was also the goofy moments too : )

And really, what would a young men's outing be without some basketball to wrap it all up?! (Oh and James' team won all three games ; )

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
PS I unfortunately got a little delete happy on the camera and accidentally deleted the pictures of the before shot, and how much stuff they really pulled out of there : ( Just know they did a LOT of work.
